    The Java™ plug-in is approximately 14MB, which requires approximately 5-20 minutes to download using DSL, a Cable Modem, or a T1 line and on average 40 minutes to download over a 56K modem.

    Beginning August 14, 2008, the minimum required version of the Java Plug-in for WinFlex Web will be v1.5.0. This upgrade will enhance the functionality and usability of WinFlex Web, and aid in making the application faster and smoother. To avoid any interruption in WinFlex Web usage, we encourage all users to download and install this plug-in as soon as possible.

  • After installation of the latest Java™ plug-in other Java Applet applications perform inadequately. How can I fix this?
    When Java plug-in 1.5.0 or greater is installed, it is set by default in the browser. In the event that other Java Applet applications perform inadequately after installation of this upgrade then remove this default setting. This document describes how to remove this setting.
